What’s Happening During Christmas At Horkans?

Christmas Trees

Our real Christmas trees arrive in store on November 22nd. Our specially selected premium Nordmann Fir Christmas trees are renowned for their rich green foliage and non-shedding needles. Why not make it a trip for the entire family this year and get down to Horkans to choose your real Christmas tree? Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening in December we will have free hot chocolate for the children. We want to make your trip to select that perfect tree that extra bit special.

We also have a fantastic range of artificial Christmas trees available, ranging from 2ft to 9ft. Some of these are pre-strung with Christmas lights so all you have to do is to add the decorations!

Christmas At Horkans Castlebar

*The following events are taking place in our Castlebar store only, but we invite everyone to come and join us in the festivities*

Throughout the month of December we are celebrating Christmas in a very special way in Horkans Castlebar. We have put together a magnificent line up of festive events to help spread the Christmas cheer.

Santa Claus

Every Saturday and Sunday throughout the month of December, Santa Claus and his elf will be paying a special visit to Horkans Castlebar. He will arrive in store at 3pm greeting everyone, young and old, as he makes his way to his special grotto. There will be opportunities for your little ones to get a photo with Santa Claus, a memoir to treasure forever. As he heads off Santa will stop by his special Santa Post Box at 3.45pm. Here he will collect the Santa letters posted by all the boys and girls.

Santa’s Sleigh

Santa dropped his special Santa Sleigh into Horkans Castlebar. We invite you all to come along and take a picture in Santa’s Sleigh. It will be in-store right up until Christmas eve when it heads off on some very special business.
